Women Entrepreneurs – Words of Encouragement To Cheer You Up

Blessings Gentle Reader and welcome to today’s post. We trust you are well and thanks for visiting our site! Have a great day.

Keep on Going...

“I believe in you and know you have within you the power to transcend everything and make your dreams come true”

Today’s post is aimed specifically at women who are small business owners; if you are feeling low, doubting your ability to “make it” and generally going through a hard time; Here’s a few words of encouragement to cheer you along and remind you that you are doing the best you can and you can make it.

Over the past few years, like you, I have read and studied the Law of Attraction and apply the Laws to my life. If you haven’t heard of the Law of Attraction, one of the clearest explanations I have read is by Dr Joe Vitale.

In line with the Law of Attraction, I am sure you aspire to be aware of your inner world and impact it has on your outer reality. On good days you trust the process and go with the flow. Yet when your back is against the wall, when you know without even knowing that your bank account is zero and falling, how can you “trust the process” and believe in better?

What is the difference between following your dreams and being plain blind to the reality of your situation?

Is there a difference or just two sides of the same coin?

As you know, here at TheNextGoal, we aim to encourage, inspire and support you along your path. If you are a busy mum, aspiring to run your own business, and going through a lean time, what do you do? You believe in yourself, yet you can’t see the next step and struggle to trust, what can you do? All you can see is an empty diary and an overflowing email inbox of other entrepreneurs selling their wares and doing “better than you.” You can feel your energy sinking, yet you know you have to keep the “faith” and trust the process.

Keep on Believing In Yourself

In this situation it is easy to throw in the towel and think of going back to your day job – at least there you had the security of a fixed regular income, a pension and ‘job security’ At least you knew exactly what was on the table and could work with that.

You Want More For Yourself And Family

Yet, I am sure, those where the exact reasons which spurred you to resign, seek your fortune and make a difference. You wanted more. Not more in the sense of being greedy but more in the sense of abundance.

You believed in yourself, somewhere, deep inside of your being a voice kept saying you can do better, you deserve better, you can do more, you do have a choice. Somewhere deep inside you, you believed that through hard work, determination, and persistence you could provide for your family and feed your soul.

What has happened to your dream?

If like me, you have a goal for your business, yet still struggle to break even and make a profit; don’t give up. Keep on believing in yourself. Keep on doing the inner work, roll up your sleeves and breathe. It is when your back is against the wall, that’s when you have to do the work, find a way to save your bacon and bring in the bacon. The gifts may not come in the way you expect, yet the gifts, blessings and lessons are what you have called for, to experience to bring you to the next level.

For instance, I love writing and keen to expand and grow my business to combine my joy of teaching yoga with writing. “Out of the blue” I received Kiesha’s email about the WeBlogBetter Challenge, and here I am today, in the final, petrified yet recognising I am exactly in the place I am supposed to be to share, heal and grow. And being here, I am encouraged by my mentor Frederique Murphy to dig a bit deeper and carry on.

So I am asking you, keep your eyes on the prize, remember what inspires you to carry on and hold on. Better days are here. You are creating magic. You are moving forward and creating a better, brighter world not just for yourself and your children but for all girls and young women looking up to you.

What’s Your Why?

When you are going through a hard time, What drives you forward, to seek a brighter better future for your children? You must have a why, a deep inner drive; some call it a purpose, a calling or vocation.

Everyone has a dream, a passion and inner calling. My parents had to wait 35 years for their “five year” dream to come true. Yet it came true.

Sometimes, it the pursuit of your dream you have to take the rough with the smooth, that’s just life. Yet each time you make the decision to work through the rough, something always shines through the other side. Is it a question of faith, karma, good luck, good fortune,?

I call it Faith. Faith can move mountains. I am not one of those people who people in sitting on their backsides (well I do when I meditate…but that’s different) and expect God, the universe to make things happen.

No, for me, faith is you believing in better, trusting, knowing that you will, somehow or the other find a way to make it through your troubles and temporary challenges. Faith is rolling up your sleeves and doing the work, faith is what drives you to get up, to go the extra mile, to step back, pause and review your situation and have courage to change, midstream, upstream or downstream. Faith is that quiet voice inside which when you give it space to breathe, guides you through to the next goal. Faith is a deep belief that good always follows bad.

My wish is…

If you are going through a challenging time, if life isn’t flowing as smoothly and swiftly as you wish, take a step back, breathe and find the strength, courage and determination to take one more step towards your goal.

For at the end of the day, faith is all you have. So, my dear sisters, women struggling to build a brighter, better future for yourself, keep the faith, stay solution focused, be flexible and hold onto your dream. You can do it. I believe in you. We believe in you.

I’d love to hear how you made it through “your hard times” Share your tips and suggestions in the comment box below. Who knows something you share could be the one thing another woman building her business needs to hear to make it through her low point.
