Dear Gentle Reader, with the end of 2011 approaching, this ode is dedicated to you if you fear change.
If you fear change
Stick to what you know, follow the crowd and blend in with the men in grey.
Do not take any risks
Stick to the tried and tested route, the safe path
The way of the masses.
Stick to the regular, same walk, same talk, same paper, and same car
Stick to what your forbearers have done
Don’t rock the boat or dare to step out of line.
Be Joe Blogs, Mrs Average and enjoy your two-up-two-down and 2.5 offspring.
Follow the crowd, do the same as everyone else and live life according to their rules.
Don’t breathe or say ‘Yes’; do as you are told and never be bold.
For what is there? What else can you do when opportunity knocks or life knocks you down?
Well, you can stay where you are; live life in a sea of blue or you could,
you could take a chance and step out of the box and try something new.
You could take a different route, live a little by stretching when you wake, give
yourself permission to take another slice of cake, allow yourself to be loved and
fairies light your path.
You could take a deep breath and say yes, I am here. My opinion does matter. I care and
I want you to hear.
And now, if you could and if someone was listening, I’d love to know what risks you dream of taking. Take a minute and let us know by writing “your secret risk” in the comment box below. Who knows-it may come true!
Thank you and have a wonderful day

I sold everything I had in California and moved to Asia. I don’t know if I’ll be able to stay here forever or eventually have to go back. It’s been 4 years plus, so I guess I’m off to a good start.

Hi ntathu..
I have been focusing on building my blogs snce 8 months ago, which I expect to provide good return from the time and efforts I have invested. It isn't easy for me because my native language isn't English and it seems to be the biggest challange for me. However, I am still sure that I can make my dream come true someday..

Hi ntathu great post! If there was one dream I followed was to get into the martial arts. It had been something I had dream about since I was a kid but couldn’t do it because I didn’t have the support. When I was looking for a career change 6 years ago I decided to pursue my dream of really practicing the martial arts seriously, which led me to studying holistic medicine. So I agree, if you follow your dreams you’ll be amazed at how far you can get.
