Help Us Reach OUR Next Goal

The Next Goal team doesn’t just sit back and give YOU ideas for tackling life’s obstacles – we like to set goals for ourselves as well.

This week’s team goal, of course, is to win the second challenge in the “Survive The Blog” contest – the first “Survivor”-style blogging contest that is already heating up the Internet.  The winner of round two will be the team that generates the most original posts and manages to get at least seven comments on each of them.

Rarely do any of us achieve our goals without the help and support of others. We need your help to reach this goal, so we came up with a little incentive. We know we can count on you, our friends and readers, but this is our way of saying thanks – and maybe making it a bit more fun for you, too.

TELL ME MORE!

We put together an little contest for our readers – giving you a chance to win a sweet prize for yourself.  All you have to do to enter is meet a few easy requirements.  But you only have a few days to enter – so read carefully and start commenting.

The winner will get their choice of one of the following signed and matted art prints, each valued at $125 :

Ebb & Flow

"Ebb and Flow" signed print on metallic paper - limited edition #5/25

Nose for Trouble

"A Nose For Trouble" signed, matted print

HOW DO I ENTER?
Glad you asked.  Here’s how:

1.  Stop by our blog and browse around a bit.  Find a couple of posts that you like and leave a comment.  (For each blog post we publish, you can comment as often as you like; but only one comment per post counts as an entry. You can comment on as many posts as we publish this week, so come back every day for a chance to earn more entries!)

2.  Want extra credit?  Sure!  Follow @TheNextGoal on Twitter and tweet one of these messages to your followers, for one entry per tweet – up to a maximum of three. (Tweets must be spaced at least 12hr apart.)

**TWEET THIS–>       I just entered to win a signed print at http://bit.ly/ntRrcI  Take a look! #nextgoal

or

**TWEET THIS–>      A new blog with a cool contest.  Check it out!  http://bit.ly/ntRrcI #nextgoal

3.  Stop back by this post and leave a comment, letting us know which of the above steps you completed.  Also – be sure to let us know which prize you want if you win!

The deadline to enter is 11:58pm (Eastern) on Friday (10/21/12).  We will throw your name in the hat and draw a winner Saturday morning.

WooHoo – Count Me In!

That’s the spirit!  Take a few minutes to tweet and leave a few comments and you just might find yourself with a cool original, signed, matted art print hanging on your wall.  We know you would probably be willing to help us strictly out the goodness of your heart or for the good Karma – but this way, you just might get a little something extra.

Don’t delay – the deadline is Friday night!

Very cool Larry. If I win, you need to stand in the middle of a crowded restaurant and yell “Harry Pecker is a winner. I love Harry Pecker.” Haha.

LOVE the puppy! My daughter will too. Great job!

Posted again on the blog about doing yoga each morning – Ka-Ching one more entry for the Ebb and Flow picture. Come to Poppy!!

    • Funny Poppy. Can someone related to the blogger win? Wait a minute I already have these photos.

I guess we can all count on a lot more Poppy comments – keep them coming.

      • Poppy says:

I have my goal set on receiving the Ebb and Flow picture by the end of this week because of my efforts to compete for it – Aha, a SMART goal
The second most sought after thing on my list is to see you play another WWF word and keep our game going. Does this get me another entry for Ebb and Flow?

  4. Poppy says:

Just posted another reply on the 7 ways to know you are stressed blog. One my entry for me. Looking forward to Ebb and Flow.

Definitely hope you have a lot of fun with this competition, no matter if you win or lose!

    • Well, we are having – and thank you so much, Jan, for popping over to say hello! What’s NOT going to be fun at all is if we lose a round and have to vote off one of our teammates. I don’t want that to happen, so failure is simply NOT an option, here. :)

Just posted on the 7 signs of stress blog – and can hardly wait to receive my Ebb and Flow print. Do I need to keep coming back to this post and reporting on my other posts to increase my entries?

  8. Poppy says:

Just left another post on the topic – are all your goals smart goals. I’ve also opened some wall space for the Ebb and Flow picture that I would like to have.

Say, I just left another post on the blog topic “Are you smarter than a first grader” and I’m telling you about it here. Does that give me another shot and hanging one of those pictures on my wall? I still like ‘em both, but for some reason the dog picture picture kinda calls to me today – of course I know that is probably wrong and I should be listening for the Ebb and Flow message – according to what my elementary school art teachers would tell me (which is ok since I like that picture too)

  14. Poppy says:

I want the dog print – or maybe I want the Ebb and Flow print. Actually I would be happy with either print. By the way, I’ve just come to your blog and posted a comment on one of your posts and told you which print I hope to be hanging on my wall soon. I think I just did 2 of the steps required to enter the contest.

  15. Dave says:

I don’t Twitter but both those photos are sweet!

This sounds like fun! You guys are doing a great job!
